Little Hands, Green Future:
Our Summer Care Program at the “1,000 Trees Challenge”

Every summer, things get especially lively on the grounds of EBNER Industrieofenbau when our employees’ children attend the summer childcare program. This August, a nature project was on the agenda: Together with Kinderfreunde Linz-Land, the children took part in the Austria-wide “1,000-Tree Challenge.”

At the heart of the initiative was a young tree that has now found a permanent home on our company grounds. The camp counselors used the project to teach the children important facts about the climate, air quality, and the natural environment. In the process, they learned about the valuable contribution a tree makes to air quality and for future generations.

To give the project a personal touch, the children then decorated colorful stones. These creative works of art now adorn the area around the tree’s trunk, making the tree a special focal point on the grounds.

Through initiatives like this, we not only foster an early awareness of our environment but also set an example of community spirit that will continue to grow visibly here for many years to come.
