Fourth “A Nose for Science” nook sponsored by EBNER opens at the municipal kindergarten in Alkoven.

Alkoven, June 26, 2025 – Following the successful implementation in two kindergartens in Leonding and a kindergarten in Wilhering, the EBNER GROUP is continuing its commitment to early education and scientific support for children. The fourth EBNER-sponsored “Spürnasenecke” (“A nose for science” nook) has now been officially opened at the Alkoven community kindergarten.

The “a nose for science” nook is an innovative concept that gives children of pre-school age access to scientific and technical topics playfully. In the new learning environment, children can explore their environment with around 100 exciting experiments, observe phenomena and gain their first “aha” experiences.

“At EBNER, we know how important it is to get children interested in technology and science at a young age. With the “A nose for science” nook, we create exactly the right conditions for this. We are all the more pleased that we can now also provide an exciting environment for discovery and research in the Alkoven kindergarten,” says Robert Ebner, CEO of the EBNER GROUP.

With this fourth Spürnasenecke, the EBNER GROUP is underlining its sustainable responsibility for education and society – not only at the company location in Leonding, but also in the surrounding region.

At the EBNER GROUP’s in-house WELAB in Leonding, the company works with schools and offers workshops on robotics, data science, VR, sustainability, health and media to enable pupils to experience the world of technology in a practical environment and discover talents and interests for future careers.
