Thanks to the Spürnasenecke (“A Nose for Science” nook) sponsored by EBNER, children from the Hart day care center in Leonding, Austria are being introduced to scientific and technological subjects in a playful way. Our cooperation with HUGO VOGELSANG GmbH & Co. KG goes all the way back to the 1980s. EBNER Industrieofenbau supplied the first hardening and tempering lines at that time, which were equipped with traditional molten-metal quenches.
The need to meet changing customer requirements and increase production capacity, while reducing energy and utility consumption at the same time, led Schwermetall Halbzeugwerk GmbH of Stolberg, Germany to invest in new bell annealer equipment. The choice to supply the technology for the facility fell to EBNER.
The worldwide success story of EBNER high-convection bell annealer technology has been extended with the addition of yet another application. Over the last few years, EBNER has successfully installed several facilities designed to produce aluminum foil for the electronics industry.
Gautschi recently participated in one of the most important expansion projects in South America, adding new furnaces to the recycling facility operated by Novelis Inc. in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil.
